Despite these challenges, I excelled academically and was able to pursue a career in medicine.
Following the events of 9/11, driven by a desire to serve, I switched gears and embarked on a career in law enforcement.
Being hired as the first minority police officer in the history of my police department was a milestone, but came with its own set of obstacles and challenges.
Undeterred by hate and discrimination, I founded a company in my garage; 221B Tactical.
I grew 221B Tactical to a multimillion-dollar global corporation by inventing products to address a critical need among police officers and soldiers.
